Fortnite Update v12.30 Patch Notes – Crash Pad, New Kingsman Fortnite Umbrella

Here are the unofficial Fortnite Patch Notes for today’s v12.30 Fortnite update.

Epic Games released the v12.30 Fortnite update today after announcing the release yesterday. The servers were down at 6 AM UTC and were back up in just over an hour. As with every major Fortnite update, Epic added new files to the game.

Data-miners have leaked the new files that were added which includes new Fortnite skins and other cosmetics, upcoming challenges, and more. There’s been a number of different weapons and items added in today’s v12.30 update which we’ll cover in the patch notes.

Epic are still not releasing patch notes after deciding to ditch releasing them some time ago. There were a couple of updates last season that includes some brief Fortnite patch notes, but it looks like we’ll go the whole season without any patch notes.

However, we’ve created our own Fortnite patch notes for today’s v12.30 Fortnite update below.

Fortnite Update

There wasn’t too much added in today’s update that’s live in-game. However, there is one major addition to the game which could change up the meta.

Data-miners usually leak new items that have been added to the game, but let one slip past during downtime today. The Fortnite servers were back up over half an hour ago, and when players jumped back into the game, they discovered a new item.

Crash Pad Fortnite

The Crash Pad is a brand new Fortnite item added in today’s update. The Crash Pad new Fortnite item is essentially a mobile trampoline that’s of rare (blue) rarity. Players can throw the crash pad down onto the ground to spawn it.

You’ll then be able to jump on it and the more times you jump on it, the higher the crash pad will launch you into the air. If you fall to the ground after jumping off a crash pad, you won’t take any fall damage.

Players will now be able to create sky bases without fear if they have a crash pad on them. The crash pad can be instantly deployed as you’re falling, preventing fall damage from any height.

The crash pads do deflate after a length of time, however, the time it takes to deflate is not yet known.

The crash pads drop in stacks of 3 but as of yet, we’re not sure what the max stack size is for the new item. However, it’s likely to be six but we’ll update this when we know for certain. Here’s a look at the crash pad in action:

New Kingsman Fortnite Umbrella

There’s a new Fortnite umbrella in today’s v12.30 update, but it’s not the usual cosmetic umbrella we’re all used to.

The Kinsmans Fortnite umbrella is a weapon that is a legendary item. According to players that have come across the Kingsmans umbrella Fortnite weapon, it’s available in the spy games along with the normal core games including solo, duos, and squads.

According to leakers, there’s three different variations/rarities; rare, epic, and legendary. The new Fortnite umbrella, Kingsman, is a weapon that deals 50 damage when hitting an opponent that’s close to you.

You can also use the Kingsman umbrella to block bullets and allows users to slow descent when falling from heights, but will not completely prevent fall damage. The new Kingsman Fortnite umbrella will break when falling from high heights.

In order to block bullets, open the Kingsman in the direction you’re getting shot from. You can break structures and farm materials using this, and you can also perform the small jump animations you could with the light sabers. This weapon is essentially the light saber but won’t be as common to find.

New Fortnite v12.30 Skin Styles Leaked Peekaboo, Nite Nite, Rabbit Raider & Bunny Brawler Leaked

There are new Skin Styles that have been added in the v12.30 update for the Peakaboo, Nite Nite, Rabbit Raider and Bunny Brawler Skins. Here is what they look like.

Epic have been adding new styles for some of the Fortnite Skins that have been released in the past in some of the updates, and in the v12.30 update, there are styles that have been added for four more Skins.

Fortnite v12.30 Leaked Skin Styles

The Skins which have received new styles are Peakaboo, Nite Nite, Rabbit Raider and Bunny Brawler, the Party Parade and Pastel Patrol Sets. You can see all the styles that will be available for these Skins below.

Peekaboo

Peekaboo is an Epic Skin which has the description, “I see you!”. This Skin was first leaked in the v5.41 update and when it was first available to purchase in the Item Shop, it already had a style that came with the Skin. A new style has been added in today’s v12.30 update and can be seen below:

Nite Nite

Nite Nite is the male counterpart to Peekaboo and so of course is also of Epic rarity. The description for this Skin is, “Sleep tight!” and when it was first made available, it did come with a selectable style. Here is the new style that has been added for this Skin:

Rabbit Raider

The Rabbit Raider Skin was first leaked in the 3.4.0 update and this Skin is of Epic rarity and has the description, “Scary cute.” A new darker style has been added in this update, which can be seen below:

Bunny Brawler

The Bunny Brawler Skin is the female counterpart to the Rabbit Raider Skin and is also fo Epic rarity. The description for this Skin is “Hop into action” and the new style for this Skin can be seen below.

If you already have any of these Skins in your locker, you will be awarded these styles once you log in. Players who purchase these Skins once they are available in the Shop will also receive these styles and as they have been updated, they should be making a return to the Shop very soon.

Deadpool Fortnite Skin Style, Dual Pistols & POI Leaked

Epic Games have released the latest Fortnite update, v12.30, which includes a leaked Deadpool skin style and Deadpool’s dual pistols.

Epic Games announced yesterday that the next Fortnite update will be the v12.30 update releasing today. The Fortnite servers are currently down for maintenance and the update is available to download on most platforms.

As with any downloadable update, data-miners began looking for all the new content they could find in the update. A number of data-miners have leaked some upcoming information regarding the Fortnite Deadpool skin.

Fortnite Deadpool

Unless you’ve not been playing Fortnite, you’ll know that Deadpool has been a main feature this season with the weekly challenges and rewards that release on Friday. There’s been some good free rewards thus far including sprays, loading screens, a back bling, and a wrap.

When the week Fortnite Deadpool challenges were released, players could see a calendar in Deadpool’s hideout which marked when the skin will finally be available to unlock. The Deadpool Fortnite skin will be available this week on Friday and will be available to those that have completed all of the challenges all the way up to week 7.

In today’s Fortnite update, data-miners have leaked several new files for Deadpool. As we reported two weeks ago, there was a placeholder Deadpool challenge added for those that unlocked the skin.

It seemed as though there’d be a skin style for Deadpool upon completing this additional challenge, and that has been all but confirmed with a unmasked Deadpool Fortnite skin style being leaked as seen below:

Deadpool Dual Pistols

Not only are we getting The Deadpool skin and style this week, it looks like we’ll be getting much more. Data-miners also revealed there’ll be Deadpool dual pistols making their way into the game at some point. The stats of the dual pistols hasn’t been leaked yet but you can take a look at the new weapon below:

POI

According to a number of data-miner, there’ll also be a Deadpool POI on the map. The Yacht that’s located towards the north east side of the map will be Deadpool’s. Here’s an image of the Midas status with a Deadpool mask on it that’ll be placed on the Yacht:

The Fortnite supply drops will also be changed to a Deadpool theme, and according to data-miners, we could be getting a Deadpool themed Battle Bus:

Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2 Leaked Skins & Cosmetics Found in v12.30

Here are all of the cosmetics that have been leaked in the v12.30 update, which includes Fortnite Skins, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Gliders, Emotes and Wraps.

Epic Games update Fortnite on a regular bases, either a weekly or bi-weekly and yesterday they had announced that the v12.30 update would be taking place. Last week, there was a small update that took place, however there weren’t that many files that were added, apart from the Awaken Oro Challenges.

As with the majority of bi-weekly updates, data-miners have been looking through the new files that have been added and have managed to leak all the new cosmetics that have been added.

Data-miner @VastBlastt has leaked all of the new cosmetics that have been added in this update, which includes Skins, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Gliders Emotes/Dances and Music Packs, all of which can be seen below.

We will be updating you with the names and rarities of all of these leaked cosmetics as well as HD images of all as soon as they are available. The majority of these cosmetics will be available to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop and the price will vary, depending on the type and rarity of the item, with legendary the more expensive rarity.
