There are three new Punch Cards that have been added for players to complete in Fortnite Battle Royale. Here is what they are and how to complete them.
This Season, Epic have decided to reduce the amount of challenges released per week from ten down to seven and the amount of XP you earn for completing each weekly challenge this season is now 35,000 XP. However, Epic have added Punch Cards, which awarded players for completing certain tasks throughout the season.
The Punch Cards are hidden until you complete a certain task to unlock them, i.e, getting a win in one of the modes in order to unlock the Victory Tour Punch Card. There are different number of punches you can get for each card depending on what the task is, but each punch on the card will earn you 14,000 XP.
In the v13.20 Fortnite update that took place earlier today, there were quite a few new things that were added and included in this were three brand new Punch Cards. Two of these Punch Cards are related to the XP Coins you can collect around the map and the other is related to the Loot Sharks that were added at the start of the new season. The Punch Cards are:
One of the Punch Cards added is called Blue is Better and there are five different punches that you can get for this card. This card of course relates to the amount of Blue XP Coins you collect this season.
Remember, you will be granted 14,000 XP for each punch you get and we will be releasing a guide on the location of Blue Coins throughout the season, so keep an eye out for that.
The Gold is the Greatest Punch Card works in exactly the same way as the Blue is Better Punch Card mentioned above, however the amount of Gold Coins you will need to collect for each punch is different and there won’t be as many Gold Coins to collect. Here are the amounts for each punch:
We will also be created guides throughout the season to show you the location of these Gold Coins.
The last Punch Card to be added in the v13.20 update was the Chomp! Card. As you can tell from the title, the task you will need to complete involved the Loot Sharks and there is only one Punch for this card.
The Loot Sharks can be found in the sea, and you can control the Sharks when you ride them. If you need help on how to ride a Shark, you can see the detailed guide we made by clicking here.
There may be more Punch Cards that are added in future updates, and we will let you know as soon as they are added and how to complete them.

Epic Games has announced this years alternative to the 14 days of summer event.
Last year, Epic introduced the 14 days of summer event. During the event, there was a daily Fortnite challenge for players to complete and a cosmetic reward for each completed challenge.
Weapons and items were also unvaulted each day for 24 hours along with a fresh rotation of both new and old LTMs. Although there’s not going to be a 14 days of summer Fortnite event, Epic have announced a different event for summer 2020 called Fortnite Summer Splash 2020.
Epic Games updated the news feed on the Nintendo Switch to announce the Summer Splash Fortnite event. However, as of writing, there’s been no update to the pc or console news feed with any information on the event.
Summer Splash will be similar to the 14 days of summer event, however, it appears as though there’ll be no daily challenge for players to complete and no rewards to earn. From the news feed information, it also appears as though there’ll be no old weapons and items being unvaulted for the day.
There will be a daily rotation of both classic LTMs as well as new ones. Some of the classic LTMs that’ll be available during Summer Splash include Fog of War (Sneaky Silencers), Close Encounters, Unvaulted, Catch!, and more. Some of these classic LTMs will have some new features since they were last available to play.
Similar to the 14 days of summer event last year, there’ll be new and old summer-themed Fortnite skins and other cosmetics hitting the Fortnite Item Shop each day. In today’s v13.20 update, data-miners leaked a number of different summer-themed skins including Dad Bod Jonesy, and you can take a look at the full set of skins leaked today over here.
The announcement also mentions the return of the Summer Drift and Beach Bomber skins, but there’ll be a bunch of other Fortnite skins making a return to the shop.
We’re not quite sure how long this Fortnite Summer Splash 2020 event will last, but Epic do state that from now until the end of the season, players can drop into a rotation of classic LTMs along with new ones. It’s unlikely there’ll be new and old summer Fortnite skins in the shop until the end of the season, but we’ll update this with any specific information that’s released regarding the end date.
We could still see some Fortnite summer challenges and rewards added in the next update, although it’s quite unlikely. Either way, be sure to turn on website notifications so you don’t miss out on any of the summer splash news.
Here’s the full text from the Nintendo announcement:
It’s time to celebrate summer – the Fortnite Summer Splash starts now!
With the flood turning the entire island into a waterfront destination, it’s time to grab your swimsuit, an ice-cold jar of Slurp Juice, and dive into the Summer Splash. From now until the end of Season 3, drop into a rotation of classic LTMs along with some new ones. There are also new and favourite Item Shop outfits arriving – tailor-made for an island getaway.
Fun in the Sun: Classic & New LTMs
Throughout Summer Splash, enjoy a rotation of LTMs such as Fog of War (formerly Sneaky Silencers), Close Encounters, Unvaulted, Catch! and more. You’ll notice these classic LTMs getting some Summer Splash refreshment with some new features.
Brad new LTMs will kick off in a future update and include new takes on Operation: Knockout, a reell ’em in royale, and a game on elimination-powered upgrades.
Summer Vibes: New Outfits and More
Summer Splash will also feature new Outfits and other Item Shop items inspired by all things summer: sand, sea, sports, and – of course – good food. Dial-in your fairway drive as golf expert Par Patroller, Shark-suit up as Cozy and Comfy Chomps, unwind as Dad Bod Jonesy, and more.
The summer head also heralds the return of both Summer Drift and Beach Bomber for the festives.
Whether you live in the Northern of Southern Hemisphere, come join us in a sunny celebration in Fortnite!

There is a secret mission you can currently complete in Fortnite Battle Royale where you can earn free XP for completing it. Here is how and what you will need to do to complete the secret mission.
Last Season of Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic had added Secret Missions for players to complete which would grant you extra XP. This was very helpful last season as the XP you would earn from weekly challenges had been reduced and many players needed more XP to unlock the gold versions for the Battle Pass Skins.
This season, there are only seven weekly challenges per week, and upon completion, players will be granted 35,000 XP for each challenge. The challenges have been quite easy and straightforward to complete so far, but some players want to level up in the Battle Pass as quick as possible. Luckily, Epic have decided to continue with the Secret Missions this season and completing them will grant you with some XP.
In the v13.20 Fortnite update that took place earlier today, there were a few map changes that were made, one of which was a new small island appearing on the map. This new island can be found at B1 on the grid, which we have shown on the map below:
When you land on the island, you will see the Coral Chorus have found a new home, but in order to build their home properly, they will need 100 wood. There are quite a few trees on this island, plenty for you to harvest enough wood to give to the Corals.
As soon as you have given the Coral Chorus the wood, you will see that their new home will be built and you will receive a notification that you have complete the Coral Buddies: The Wood Age Challenge. You will also be awarded with 25,000 XP for completing this Secret Mission.
As you can see from the image, you will also be awarded the “From the Primordial Ooze” Legacy/Achievement. This is the only Secret Mission to be added in the v13.20 update and unlike last season, it looks like you will be able to complete this mission at any time before the end of the season.

Here’s the unofficial Fortnite patch notes for today’s new v13.20 Fortnite update. The update introduces a new gun, the Flare Gun, along with a new item.
Epic Games released the v13.20 new Fortnite update today. Whilst the servers were down for scheduled maintenance, data-miners leaked a number of new files including new Fortnite skins, an upcoming Captain America skin, a double agent bundle, and the new skin styles for a number of released skins.
As is the norm in chapter 2, there are no patch notes released by Epic Games. However, they did send out an email highlighting what will be in today’s new v13.20 Fortnite update, and they teased the Flare gun along with a new ‘hero’ skin that’ll be available to purchase from the item shop this week.
We’ve created out own Fortnite patch notes for the update, which you can view below.
The flare gun was added to the Fortnite files back in chapter 1, but was never released. It was then removed from the files only to be added back in the season 3 launch update (v13.00).
If you’re wondering if the flare gun is in fortnite, I can confirm it’s now available. When the servers were back online, it was impossible to find the flare gun, but after checking in normal game modes along with battle labs, we’ve found a flare gun from a chest in each game.
If you’re not sure how to find the flare gun in Fortnite, it appears as though it’s available in chests and supply drops. We’re yet to come across it from floor loot. Here’s the stats of the flare gun:
The Flare gun will also set fire to wood which will spread as time goes on. Not only that, but shooting the flare gun in the air will ping the locations of enemies nearby as seen in the video below.
There’s also a new item, upgrade bench. Simply collect the item and throw it on the floor to spawn an upgrade bench. It’s likely players weren’t making good use of upgrade benches, or didn’t want to locate and run to them, so Epic added this item in. Whether it’ll be around at the end of the season depends on if players use it.
As expected, there’s some Fortnite map changes in the new Fortnite update. The water levels have decreased in some areas of the map. It’s only a matter of time before new roads are discovered and cars are made available to drive.

Epic Games have announced the PvE Fortnite mode, Save the World, will no longer be offered free to play in the future.
In late 2018, Epic Games stated that Save the World would eventually be free to play, and players have eagerly been awaiting the day they can try out the PvE mode. Since the successful launch of Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic have concentrated on the Battle Royale mode, leaving Save the World full of bugs and unhappy players.
In a blog post today, Epic Games announced that they’re bringing Save the World out of Early Access. They also announced they will no longer be offering Save the World free in the future as they announced back in 2018 and instead it’ll remain a premium experience.
Players seem to be upset at the change of direction with Save the World, especially as it’ll no longer go down the free-to-play route Epic had promised. Free-to-play games garner much larger audiences, and with the current player base of Fortnite Battle Royale, there would have been an influx of players looking to try out Save the World. With more players, Epic would likely release larger and more regular updates for Save the World.
Epic have also clearly stated in their blog that the development of content for Save the World will slow down after the official release. Epic have, however, stated that all paid founders will have their pack upgraded to the next level and unlock all the rewards that come with it. Ultimate Edition owners will be granted the new Metal Team Leader Pack for free along with 8,000 V-Bucks.
The blog post also states Save the World will no longer support all new Fortnite Battle Royale cosmetics over the coming months, but your current cosmetics will still function as usual in both Battle Royale and Save the World.
The blog post goes on to introduce a new major feature, Ventures, along with outlining seasonal structure changes for the PvE mode along with new Save the World packs being released.
The hashtag save Save the World is currently trending on Twitter as players look to voice their opinion after today’s blog post. Players are unhappy with Epic reversing their decision on Save the World being free-to-play in the future, the amount of bugs in the mode, and the fact that Epic are stating the main storyline is complete when it’s clearly not. Here’s a Twitter thread on why STW players are unhappy:
STW is a game that we all know has the potential to be great, but this Blog Post is nothing more than Epic telling us they've given up on their original vision for this game.
Please support the hashtag, please make your voices heard, and please.. stay awesome commanders. pic.twitter.com/ZjmIUlnAEH

A new Fortnite Pack has been found by dataminers and there will be three Skins, three Back Blings and three Pickaxes in this bundle. Here is what the cosmetics look like and the styles they will come in.
The whole of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 was based around two factions, Shadow and Ghost. For the Season 12 Battle Pass, players were able to choose a new style for the Skins, either Ghost or Shadow, but they could only choose one.
In the v13.00 update, there were many cosmetics that were added to the files, and it looked as though they would be included in some sort of bundle although no featured image was added in the update. That has now changed in the v13.20 Fortnite update that took place earlier today, meaning a new bundle will be coming soon.
As previously mentioned, there were cosmetics that were added in the last update that were leaked by dataminers and looked to be cosmetics that would be added to a bundle. Now a new bundle has just been leaked by dataminers and it appears as though there are three Skins, three Backblings and three Pickaxes that will be included. Here is what the featured image of the bundle will look like, thanks to @xkleinmikex:
All of these Skins will be of Epic rarity and you can see the descriptions of each of these Skins below. When these cosmetics were originally added in the v13.00 Fortnite update, the names originally said ‘Ghost’, but this has now be changed to ‘Double Agent’.
As you can see from the individual images of the Skins, there is also a Shadow style for each of them and the Chaos Agent Skin also has two additional styles. Here is what the icon for the Shadow styles look like:
The bundle will also include three Back Blings, and you can see the descriptions of each below. Again, all of these Back Blings will also have the Shadow style as seen in the icon.
There is also an icon that shows three Pickaxes that’ll be added in this bundle, as can be be seen below. These Pickaxes have only been added in the v13.20 update.
All of these Pickaxes are of Rare rarity and they do not appear to have additional styles. You can see the names and descriptions of each Pickaxe below:
There is no information as to when or how this bundle will be released, but it will likely be released in the Store, the same as the Frozen Legends Bundle. We will of course be letting you know when it will be released as soon as possible.

It looks like another Marvel Fortnite skin will be available in the item shop this week in the form of Captain America.
Epic Games have collaborated with a number of different companies since the Battle Royale mode became a hit. We’ve seen two different collaborations with Marvel Avengers, a John Wick collaboration, last seasons Deadpool collaborations, a Borderlands collaboration and much more.
This season, Epic Games are collaborating with DC for the additional Battle Pass skin, Aquaman. Aquaman is featured in the launch trailer for season 3, but players can only unlock the skin after the week 5 challenges for the skin are released and completed. Until then, there’s plenty of other superhero skins to choose from.
Epic Games released the v13.20 Fortnite update today which includes a number of new files, some of which have been leaked by data-miners. Before every major update, Epic now send out an email to those that are in the support-a-creator program to highlight what’s being added in the update.
In the email highlighting what will be added in today’s Fortnite update, Epic Games hinted that a new hero skin will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop this week. As it’s American Independence Day on July 4th, and with this hero skin hint from Epic Games, players were quick to predict that the skin would be Marvels Captain America, and it looks like that’s the case.
In the email sent to creators, the email said “a mighty arrival is coming to the item shop this week. Stay tuned”.
There’s also been some new strings added in today’s Fortnite update which suggests there’ll be Captain America cosmetics which will be in the set along with the Captain America skin. The following strings have been added:
Textures for a Captain America Fortnite skin were also added in today’s update, so it’s all but confirmed the skin will be released on July 4th or possibly a day prior. As always, we’ll keep you updated with any news on the hero skin that’ll be available this week.

Epic games have added a host of new skin styles for previously released Fortnite skins.
Since Fortnite chapter 1, season 8, Epic Games have been added new Fortnite skin styles for skins that have been released in the item shop. There’s usually at least one new skin style in every major update, and there’s also been a handful added in bug fix updates.
After the v8.10 update, Epic released a blog post stating that they’ll continue to improve skins based on community feedback. Since then, Epic have stuck to their word and released a whole host of new skin styles.
The new skin styles are usually a change of colour, or they remove the mask or hat of a skin. In today’s v13.20 Fortnite update, there’s a handful of new Fortnite skin styles.
Mezmar has a new skin style that turns him purple with green eyes and green teeth. The style is called ‘Trance’. Mezmers back bling has receives a purple style.
Sunbird receives a colour change with the Moon Hawk skin styles. Instead of her usual orange, black, and green colours, she now has more of an aqua green colour for her hair, and a purple outfit much like Mezmar. SUnbirds back bling also receives a colour change.
Sunbird also has a new skin style that takes off her helmet.
Bushranger receives some colour changes with some hints of purple and orange. The name of the skin style is ‘blooming’.
The original skin style for Heist is blue and white. However, the new skin style added today is black and red with some a small portion of his mask coloured in yellow.
The Sledge Fortnite skin receives a major change with the Arctic Enforcer skin style. The original version is black and gold whilst the new skin style is burgundy and white. The helmet has also been changed on the skin style.
If you already any of these skins, when the Fortnite servers are back up, simply login and you’ll receive a message in-game from Epic stating there’s new skin styles for skins you already own.
When new skin styles are added, the skins usually make another appearance in the Fortnite Item Shop within a couple of weeks of the update.

Here are all of the leaked Fortnite cosmetics that have been found in the v13.20 update.
New updates are regularly pushed out for Fortnite Battle Royale and in these updates there are many files that are added. Some of the files added include upcoming cosmetics that will be released in the game, usually in the Item Shop. The cosmetics you can get include Skins, Back Blings, Gliders, Pickaxes, Emotes, Wraps and more.
The v13.20 Fortnite update is now available to download, and dataminers have managed to access the files and have leaked all the new cosmetics that have been added in this update.
There are many cosmetics that have been added in this update, all of which can be seen below, thanks to @Lucas7yoshi. We will be released the full HD images of the leaked cosmetics as well as names, rarities and descriptions for each once they are available.
Here are all of the leaked Skins that have been added in this update:
There are a total of 12 Skins that have been added in this update and there is one Epic, 8 Rare and 2 Uncommon Skins as well as a Dark rarity Skin that has been added. It looks like these cosmetics will all feature in the Fortnite Item Shop in the upcoming weeks. Loserfruit has been released in the Item Shop before, but it looks like it has been updated.
Here are all of the Back Blings that have been added in this update:
Music Packs are added from time to time and it looks like a new Pack has been added for another variation of the OG Fortnite music, although a futuristic remixed version. There are also six new Wraps that have been added in this update, five of which are of Rare rarity and the other one being Uncommon. Here is what they look like:
Gliders aren’t usually added in every update when new cosmetics are added, however there are two new Gliders that have been added in this update and there are quite a few Pickaxes. Here is what they all look like:
There are six new Emotes that have been added in this update and the Loserfruit Emote has also been updated. There are also four new Sprays that have been added.
There are some encrypted files as well, which on some occasions have been leaked by dataminers before release. We will of course be letting you know if any of these cosmetics are found by dataminers as soon as they are leaked, so make sure you turn the website notifications on. Epic Games did also say that a Hero will be coming to the Item Shop this week and as the 4th July is coming up soon, we could be getting a Captain America Skin!

Here’s everything you need to know about the scheduled downtime for the Fortnite servers.
Epic Games have decided to skip a number in today’s Fortnite update. There was no v13.10 update released, but today’s update is v13.20. As usual, matchmaking was disabled 30 minutes prior to the servers going down, and the servers are currently down for maintenance.
Today’s update brings a brand new weapon to Fortnite Battle Royale, the flare gun. Not only that, it seems there’ll be an item that makes sidegrading weapons a lot easier. Epic have also teased a new “hero” skin that’ll be available in the item shop this week.
The Fortnite servers went down for scheduled maintenance at 7 AM BST. Epic usually provide a rough time of when to expect downtime for the update to end, however, for this update there is no estimate.
Downtime for most major Fortnite updates don’t last for more than two hours. However, we’ll keep you updated with the latest status of the servers, so be sure to keep refreshing the page periodically we’ll update the status below as soon as they’re live.
Fortnite servers currently down – last updated 7:26am BST
In the mean time, feel free to check out all of our coverage on today’s Fortnite update by heading over to the homepage.

A new Fortnite update is coming, v13.20. Here’s everything we can expect from tomorrow’s update.
Epic Games launched Fortnite chapter 2 season 3 almost two weeks ago. Since chapter 2 began, there haven’t been many updates with new items or map changes, however, it seems like that will be changing this season.
Epic released a content update last week that introduced Fireflies and the Firefly jar. Players can throw these jars at players to objects. Upon impact the firefly jars will deal 40 damage to a player.
Not only does it seem like Epic will be adding more items like they did in chapter 1, it’s likely we’ll see a lot more map changes as the season progresses. So far in chapter 2, there haven’t been many map changes during a season, but in chapter 1 and in season 10 in particular, there were either weekly or bi-weekly map changes.
With the water levels on the map set to recede, it’ll reveal new and old locations. Leaks have already showed us what some of the old locations on the map will look like when the water levels lower.
Epic have announced a new Fortnite update, v13.20, which will likely bring some map changes to the game as well as a new item or weapon. Here’s everything we know so far and what we can expect from the v13.20 update.
The Fortnite servers will go down for scheduled maintenance at 2 AM ET (6 AM UTC) and they should be back up after two hours. We’ll update this page with the status of the servers and when they’re back up.
In the downtime tweet on the Fortnite status Twitter account, the tweet stated that they’re adding a new flare to the game. This all but confirms the flare gun will finally be coming to Fortnite Battle Royale.
The Flare Gun was leaked way back in chapter 1, and was used in a short Fortnite clips Epic tend to post on their YouTube and Twitter account. It was added back to the files at the start of season 3, and here’s the stats for the gun:
It’s almost certain that there’ll be some map changes. The water levels will likely be lower once the Fortnite servers are back up. Leaks showcased what some old locations from season 2 will look like when they make their return as the water levels lower.
We’ll likely see one or two locations make a comeback in tomorrow’s new v13.20 Fortnite update, or we could see a new location emerge.
As this is a major Fortnite update, we’ll see a some leaks coming from the files. Expect to see new Fortnite skins and other cosmetics leaked along with upcoming items, new challenges and more.
