Lachlan Fortnite Skin Bundle in Today’s Fortnite Item Shop November 12th/13th 2020

The Lachlan Fortnite skin will be in the 12th/13th November Item Shop rotation along with all the other cosmetics in the set.

Epic Games announced the Icon Series at the start of the year alongside the announcement of the Ninja skin. Previous skins including Marshmello and Major Lazer were also added to the icon series along with any future skins.

Prior to the latest addition to the series, Loserfruit was the last content creator that was added. Last week, Epic Games announced that Lachlan is the latest creator to be added to the series as well as announcing that TheGrefg will be the next to be added to the series.

Lachlan is the only content creator to get his own major tournament as well as getting their own skin. The Lachlan Pickaxe Frenzy took place a couple of days ago with a large number of players participating. Those that finished high enough in the tournament were able to get their hands on the skin ahead of the item shop release.

The Lachlan Fortnite skin and all the other cosmetics in the set will finally be available to purchase today. Here’s a closer look at what’s in the set.

The Lachlan bundle/set contains a skin, back bling, emote, and a pickaxe. Here’s a look at each cosmetic below.

There’s no information regarding how long the bundle will be available to purchase from the item shop. We’d assume it’ll be available for 2-3 days, but information regarding availability is never available.

If you want to grab the skin, I’d suggest you do it as early as possible to avoid any disappointed. It’s probably got some of the better cosmetics in comparison to other Icon Series sets. I’m definitely a fan of the pickaxe and back bling. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Fortnite Week 12 Challenges XP Xtravaganza week 2, week 12 xp coins

Here’s the Fortnite week 12 challenges, also known as the XP Xtravaganza week 2 challenges.

If there are no delays to the season, Fortnite season 4 will be ending on November 30th. We’ll have a “Nexus War” event before the season ends, which will likely take place on the weekend before the season ends.

The week 10 Fortnite challenges were the last set of normal weekly challenges. However, in the email sent out to content creators before the v14.50 update, Epic stated that XP Xtravaganza challenges would be added to give players the chance to unlock the foil variants of the battle pass skins.

Fortnite Jennifer Walters Foil Skin Styles
Fortnite Jennifer Walters Foil Skin Styles

The week 1 XP Xtravaganza challenges were released last week on Thursday, and we have another set of challenges to complete.

Fortnite Week 12 Challenges

Some of the XP Xtravaganza challenges for week 1 were staged whilst others were just normal challenges. The staged challenges have three parts to them, and there’s a few staged challenges for the week 2 XP Xtravaganza challenges:

Here are the Fortnite week 12 challenges, aka the week 2 XP Xtravaganza challenges:

  • Deal damage with Shotguns to opponents (1,000/2,500/5,000)
  • Eliminate opponents with Common/Rare/Epic weapons (7 each)
  • Damage opponents using the Choppa’s blades (50/150/250)
  • Catch fish (10)
  • Catch fish with a Pro Fishing Rod (10)
  • Catch fish with Explosive Weapons (10)
  • Shoot a gas can thrown by a teammate before it hits the ground (1)
  • Consume foraged items (30)

Similar to last weeks challenges, these are straightforward to complete. They’ll go live today, November 12 at 1 PM GMT, the same time the weekly challenges went live.

If you find it difficult to find a pro fishing rod whilst looting, you can upgrade a normal fishing rod at an upgrade bench. Catching fish with explosive weapons requires players to throw in grenades or use an RPG at fishing spots.

Consuming foraged items can be completed easily at The Orchard where there’s a bunch of apples on the floor. Damaging opponents using the Choppa’s blades may provide tricky, but we’ll have some tips on how to complete that in another article.

Fortnite week 12 xp coins

There are NO xp coins that are being added to the map since week 10. We’ll release a guide on all the xp coin locations this week.

The trailer for the unreleased Last Laugh Fortnite pack with The Joker Skin has just been leaked. Here is what it looks like.

Epic Games have been collaborating with many franchises to bring the different universes into Fortnite. The current season of Fortnite is based predominantly on the Marvel characters coming to the island, which will be the focus of the live event for this season happening in a few weeks.

In the past, Epic have also teamed up with DC to bring the characters of that universe to life in the Fortnite world with Skin like Harley Quinn, Batman and Aquaman to name a few. Back in August, there was also an announced of a new Skin Bundle that was coming to the game, called the Last Laugh Bundle, which includes The Joker Skin and the the Poison Ivy Skin. It looks like the trailer for this bundle has now been leaked, which can be seen below.

Free Fortnite Skins: Exclusive PS5 & PS Plus Free Skins Leak

These two Fortnite skins could be free for both PS5 and PS Plus users if leaks are to correct.

Epic Games have a disclosed partnership with Fortnite. They’ve released a host of free cosmetics for PS Plus players to download from the store. The more recent PlayStation Plus free cosmetics have been gliders and sprays from the celebration packs, but they have been some free Fortnite skins as well.

In April, PS4 players got the Point Patroller skin and the Recon Strike back bling for free in the PS celebration pack. In the most recent pack, PS Plus players got the perfect point pickaxe, point patrol wrap, an emoticon, and a banner.

Perfect Point Fortnite Pickaxe

It looks like PlayStation players could be getting more free cosmetics with data-miners stating that PS5 and PS Plus users are getting free Fortnite skins in the future. Here’s what we know so far.

PS5 Free Fortnite Skin

There were two Fortnite skins leaked from the v14.50 Fortnite update that was released last week, which both look like PlayStation-themed skins. Both skins have the “Cosmetics.Source” as their tag instead of “item shop” which means it definitely won’t be available to purchase in the shop.

The two skins are Indigo Kuno and Cloud Striker. Data-miners mentioned Indigo Kuno being the PS5 exclusive skin that users will get for free, but the Cloud Striker skin has a back bling with the PlayStation button symbols on it. Here’s a look at the Indigo Kuno and Cloud Striker skins:

Indigo Kuno

Cloud Striker

Here’s the back bling for Cloud Striker, Elevation. You can clearly see the PlayStation symbols on the side of the back bling:

It’s thought that the Indigo Kuno will be a PS Plus free Fortnite skin in the future whilst the Cloud Striker skin will be free for PS5 players. However, there’s no confirmation regarding any future PS5 or PS Plus packs. However, popular data-miner, Hypex, revealed a couple months ago that there’ll be a PS5 free exclusive skin.

The information was provided to him by his insider source who’s got a near perfect track record. However, we’ll have to wait and see if this leak come to fruition in the next couple weeks with the PS5 releasing in America this week followed by a worldwide release next week.

Fortnite Black Widow Cup: How To Get The Black Widow Fortnite Skin & New Marvel Cup Details

The Black Widow Cup in Fortnite is the new Marvel cup that has been officially announced. Players have the chance to get the Venom Fortnite skin for free and here’s how.

Epic Games announced the Marvel Knockout Series about a month ago. The series consists of four different cups based on Marvel characters with the series ending with a super cup that’ll be played as duos. There’s a $1 million prize pool for the super cup and it’ll take place on November 21st.

The first cup was Daredevil, which was followed by last weeks Ghost Rider cup. On both occasions, players could get their hands on the Marvel skins for free by placing top 1-800 depending on the region they participated in.

Epic Games have just announced the third Marvel Knockout Series Cup. The third part of the series is the Black Widow Fortnite cup. Players will have the chance to get their hands on the Black Widow Fortnite skin in the same way it’s been available in the previous two Marvel tournaments.

Here’s everything you need to know regarding the new Marvel cup, the Black Widow Fortnite cup, including when the tournament begins and the first look at the highly anticipated skin.

Black Widow Cup Fortnite Marvel Cup

The Black Widow cup will take place on Wednesday, November 11th. The cup will start at 12 PM ET in Europe, 6 PM ET for NA East, and 9 PM ET for NA West. Unlike the previous two Marvel cups, this cup will be Duos instead of trios.

How to get the Black Widow (Snow Suit) Fortnite skin for free

Unlike some of the free Fortnite cosmetics we’ve seen provided in the past, you’ll find it pretty difficult getting the Black Widow Fortnite skin. The Tart Tycoon skin was easy to get in the Free Fortnite cup as players only needed 10 points in the tournament to get the skin.

To get the free Marvel skins, you need to place top 1-800. The skin will be hard to get, but it’ll still be available to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop for those of you that miss out.

Epic teased the skin earlier in the day and have now released an image showcasing the new skin. Here’s your first official look at the new version of Black Widow:

There’ll be one more cup that players can participate in next week. There’ll be yet another Marvel skin up for grabs, but we’re not sure what skin it’ll be. We’ll likely get a teaser from Epic next week, or Data-miners will find out in the next major patch update.

Will you be gunning for glory to take home the Black Widow skin? Let us know in the comments section below.

New Black Widow Snowsuit Is The Next Marvel Fortnite Skin (winter)

Epic Games have teased the next Marvel skin, Black Widow.

Last week, Epic Games teased the Marvel skin that would be available for free in the next Marvel Knockout Series. A day before an official announcement, Epic teased the Ghost Rider skin. An official announcement for the cup was announced a day later, but we could get an announcement today.

All of the announcements for the Marvel tournaments have been on a Monday. We’ve already had the Daredevil and Ghost Rider Fortnite Marvel cups, and it looks like Black Widow will feature for the next cup.

Here’s a look at the teaser and everything we know about the next Black Widow Fortnite skin.

Snowsuit Black Widow Fortnite Skin

In every major Fortnite update, data-miners look for all the new cosmetics that were added to the files and leak them. However, Epic encrypt a handful of skins that they want to keep a secret. Encrypted skins can’t be leaked by data-miners for the most part, although there have been numerous times where they’ve managed to get the skin in-game and leak it.

In the last major update, v14.50, data-miners leaked that a snow suit Black Widow Fortnite skin. An image of the skin wasn’t leaked, but the string of the skin was.

This Black Widow is will have a snow suit, and you can tell from the teaser image below that she’s wearing a hat.

For the last teaser for Ghost Rider, a number of Twitter users changed the brightness of the image to give a good glimpse of what the skin looked like before Epic made an official announcement. Epic are wise to it this time around and there’ll be no repeat this time around.

What we do know is the next Marvel Knockout series cup will be duos and will begin this week on Wednesday, November 11th. We also know this this snow suit Black Widow will have a bundle available when it’s in the item shop.

Ghost Rider also had a bundle that was available in the item shop, but only the back bling and skin were available from the Ghost Rider Cup. We’ll have to wait and see what the new Black Widow skin looks like when Epic make an official announcement.

If you didn’t know, Epic have already released a Black Widow skin that was available in the item shop. It’s not the best skin in my opinion, but hopefully this one will be better. Here’s to hoping.

Fortnite New Update Today: Patch Notes For PS4 (v2.93), Xbox One & Nintendo Switch Update

Epic Games have rolled out a new Fortnite update today for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

We had a major Fortnite update last week with the release of v14.50. The update wasn’t feature heavy like the v14.10 update at the start of the season. However, there was an item added that players have been waiting for quite some time to finally make a return to battle royale.

A jetpack was added to the game called the “Stark Industries jetpack”. We haven’t had a jetpack in Fortnite since chapter 1, and players that started playing in chapter 2 can finally take to the skies.

Iron Man Fortnite Stark Industries Jetpack

There was an issue with the PS4 Fortnite update not deploying due to an issue, which resulted in PlayStation players having to wait a few hours in order to download the new update.

Since then, there has been another update that was pushed out for PC players last Wednesday, which fixed some crashing issues. The update resulted in the Ghost Rider cup being delayed by an our for European players.

Epic have announced on the official Fortnite Status account that a brand new Fortnite update has been pushed out today and here’s what you need to know.

Fortnite Update

Today’s new Fortnite update doesn’t bring anything new to the game. The update is available on PS4 (v2.93), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. According to Epic, the update was pushed in order to fix an issue with matchmaking portals in creative on the platforms stated above.

However, creative matchmaking portals have not been re-enabled yet, but we’ll update this as soon as they’re enabled.

We’re almost at the end of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, and we’ll be getting the final update of the season next week, v14.60. After that, we should get a live event with Galactus finally landing on the map. There’s no official date yet for the event, but it’ll likely be during the final week of the season with the season expected to end on November 30th.

As always, we’ll keep you updated with the latest Fortnite news. Be sure to favoruite our site or turn on website notifications so you’re alerted with any breaking Fortnite news.

Free Fortnite V-Bucks: Epic Games granting iOS and Mac players V-Bucks

Epic Games are granting iOS and Mac players free Fortnite V-Bucks.

The legal issues between Epic Games and Apple are well documents. Back in August, Epic announced a brand new payment method, direct payments. This allowed Epic to receive payments without having to give up 30% for players purchasing items on iOS and Android. However, this led to Fortnite being removed from both the Apple store and the Google Play Store.

Epic knew this would happen before they implemented the new payment method, and they released a Fortnite shorts video called “nineteen eighty Fortnite”. They also got #FreeFortnite trending on Twitter worldwide and held a #FreeFortnite tournament where players would win the Tart Tycoon skin for free simply by gaining 25 points in the tournament.

Players can still play on Mac and iOS, but they can’t play any of the new updates and are stuck on the map and features from last season. Epic are now looking to provide these players with compensation.

Free Fortnite V-Bucks iOS Mobile Players

Beginning November 6th, Epic began providing players on both iOS and Mac with free Fortnite V-Bucks due to these players not being able to play the latest updates.

For iOS players, they’ll receive a bonus amount of free V-Bucks that equals your current balance of unsepnt V-Bucks that have been purchased though the App Store.

iOS Free Fortnite V-Bucks
iOS Free Fortnite V-Bucks

For anyone that’s played Fortnite on Mac, they’ll receive a bonus amount of V-Bucks equal to your current balance of unspend V-Bucks purchased from Epic. The V-Bucks compensation grant is expected to be completed by tomorrow, November 9th.

If you’re eligible based on the criteria above and still haven’t received your V-Bucks, wait until November 10th. If you still haven’t received your V-Bucks you’re entitled to, reach out to Epic Games through their support system.

New Fortnite Monthly Subscription Leak – Battle Pass, Skin & V-Bucks

A new leak suggests that a new monthly subscription will be introduced to Fortnite Battle Royale in the future. Here is what we know so far.

Epic Games are constantly added new cosmetics to Fortnite including Skins, Back Blings, Pickaxes, Emotes, Gliders, Wraps and more. The majority of the cosmetics introduced to the game are usually found in the Item Shop, which can be purchased by players using the Fortnite currency, V-Bucks.

There have been other ways in which Epic have added cosmetics for players to obtain, such as packs made available in the store, purchasable by using real currency instead of V-Bucks. According to recent leaks, there appears as though Epic are looking to introduce a new monthly subscription where players will be able to get early access to Skins and more. Here is what we know so far.

Fortnite Monthly Subscription Leak – Early Skin Access

Epic have been sending out surveys to player at random to ask their opinions about different things in Fortnite. A recent survey that has been given is of a monthly subscription, with an image. Here is what the image looks like:

Fortnite New Subscription Pack
Fortnite New Subscription Pack Leak

Players were asked to look at the image and answer the question, “Based on what is presented above, please select what you believe is included in this monthly subscription?”

The options given were:

  • Discounts on V-Bucks
  • 1,000 V-Bucks each month
  • An outfit pack that is exclusive to this subscription that includes a character outfit with an additional style, Back Bling and a Pickaxe.
  • 1,000 V-Bucks each week
  • Early access to the next Battle Pass
  • Discounts on Item Shop cosmetics
  • The ability to select and existing Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe from the Item Shop for free.
  • 25 Battle Pass levels
  • An outfit pack that subscribers get first and then will be sold in the shop later that includes a character outfit with an additional style, Back Bling, and a Pickaxe.
  • The current Battle Pass
  • None of the above

Players who got this survey were also asked to give a rating for the monthly subscription and why they gave the rating.

Fortnite Monthly Subscription Survey
Fortnite Monthly Subscription Survey

Another question asked is if players would subscribe for $15.99 (USD) and another question is if they would pay $18.99 (USD).

It looks like Epic will be releasing a monthly subscription, but they are first getting feedback from players to ensure the image is clear and shows exactly what they will be receiving from the subscription if they sign up. It also looks like they are decided what the best price for the subscription should be.

Judging by the image, the subscription will include the full Battle Pass, early access to a Skin with an additional style, Back Bling and Pickaxe before it is released to all players in the Item Shop and 1,000 V-Bucks.

No official announcement has been made about this subscription as yet, but as always, we will be keeping you up to date with the latest Fortnite news. Be sure to turn website notifications on to be the first to know!

All Fortnite Rift Locations: Where to use and find rifts in Fortnite Season 4

Here’s all the rift locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 for the “use rifts” XP Xtravaganza challenge.

Last week was the final week of the normal weekly challenges and there’s no more XP coins that’ll be added to the map in Fortnite season 4. There’s also no overtime Fortnite challenges that will provide players with additional skin styles for the battle either. However, we do have XP Xtravaganza challenges to complete.

There’s three stages for some of the challenges and there’s a total of five challenges for players to complete. There will be another three weeks of XP Xtravaganza Fortnite challenges, and all challenges are squad challenges to help you complete the as quickly as possible.

One of the challenges that was unlocked today requires players to use rifts. The first stage of the challenge requires you to use 10 rifts. For those of you that don’t know the rift locations in Fortnite season 4 (chapter 2), we have you covered with the locations.

All Rift Fortnite Locations

Rifts haven’t been in Fortnite for some time until Fortnite season 4. Epic introduced the small Marvel landmarks around the map, and those landmarks have a number of rifts around them. It’s likely the locations were brought in using rifts, so you’ll find at least two at each location.

The first rift that was added in chapter 2 was straight after the spaceship event. Players needed to collect and install parts to a spaceship. Once it took off, it left a few rift locations north of Craggy Cliffs on the beach.

You’ll also find a few rifts around the outskirts of Stark Industries where you can’t access the large named location by foot or using a vehicle. Here’s a map with all the rift location in Fortnite:

To complete this challenge and its stages quickly, you’ll want to enter a rift and drop down straight into the next on if there’s a few next to each other. All the Marvel-themed landmark locations have at least two, so this shouldn’t be too hard to complete especially as a squad challenge.

Nintendo Switch Fortnite Bundle Wildcat Skin Now Available

The Wildcat Nintendo Switch Fortnite bundle is now available to purchase.

Epic Games have released a number of exclusive Fortnite skins in the past with the first one being the Galaxy skin in partnership with Samsung. Since then, they’ve released a few more Samsung exclusive skins along with other platform or company exclusive cosmetics including emotes.

One Plus device owners were provided with the Bhangra Boogie emote for free, which is still available to redeem, and PlayStation have been getting their usual fix of free cosmetics through the PS Plus Celebration packs.

Leaks suggest PlayStation players could be getting more free cosmetics. There hasn’t been a free skin for PlayStation players for a while, but that could change. In the v14.50 Fortnite update, two skins were leaked that could be exclusive for PS5 and PS Plus users, but more on that soon.

There’s also a Nintendo Switch exclusive skin that’s now available that we missed. However, players will need to buy a bundle in order to get their hands on the skin. Here’s everything you need to know.

Fortnite Wildcat Skin Nintendo Switch Bundle

The special edition Wildcast Nintendo Switch Fortnite bundle was released on October 30th. The bundle includes a Fortnite themed Nintendo Switch, the Wildcard Fortnite skin that has an additional two skin styles, and 2,000 V-Bucks.

Unfortunately, there’s no other Epic approved way to get your hands on the new Fortnite Nintendo Switch bundle. Some players have been going to sites such as eBay and CD Keys to purchase codes for the Wildcat skin, but they’re going for north of $80 for a fairly basic skin.

Fortnite The Last Laugh Bundle

We’re also waiting on the Last Laugh bundle which will be available next week. The bundle includes the much anticipated Joker skin along with Poison Ivy and Midas Rex. We’ll have more information on how you can get the bundle for much cheaper that it’s available in stores. More on that soon.

Fortnite Week 11 Challenges XP Xtravaganza (Week 1)

Here are the leaked Fortnite chapter 2 Season 4 week 11 challenges for the XP Xtravaganza (week 1).

Epic Games released the v14.50 Fortnite update two days ago which introduced the Stark Industries jetpack. Apart from that, there wasn’t much new in terms of features, but players can get the throwback OG Default pickaxe for free.

Prior to each patch going live, Epic send out an email to everyone in the support-a-creator program highlighting what’s coming in the patch. The email included the new Fortnite challenges which should be available later today at the same time the weekly challenges go live.

Fortnite Leaked v14.50 Pickaxe

The new set of challenges are called XP Xtravaganza and this is the description of the challenges:

Squad up! New bonus challenges are arriving this week that’ll put your crew’s skills to the test. Got your eye on a shiny foil style? Finish out your Battle Pass with these party-wide XP challenges and fight Galactus in mint condition“.

We’ve managed to find the Fortnite week 11 challenges, which might be listed on the Battle Pass table as XP Xtravaganza week 1.

Fortnite Week 11 Challenges

Here are the Fortnite week 11 challenges we should see go live today (XP Xtravaganza week 1):

  • Deal damage with scoped weapons
  • Use superpowers to eliminate opponents
  • Use rifts
  • Upgrade weapons to Uncommon rarity
  • Visit all named locations in a single match
  • Search Chests

We’re not sure of the quantity for these challenges, but we’ll update this when the challenges go live at 1 PM UTC. These are challenges that can be completed with a squad, but we don’t know how much XP each of these challenges will provide.

Some of the challenges, not including challenges like visit all named locations in a single match, will likely have different stages. For example, the deal damage with scoped weapons will have a low requirement of damage to deal in stage 1, which will then increase for stage 2. Again, we’ll update the article with all stages and the XP provided as soon as the challenges go live.

It looks like the Fortnite Chapter 1 Default OG skins will be in today’s Fortnite Item Shop (November 4th/5th).

Epic Games announced in a blog post outlining the performance and features on the next generation consoles that the default OG Fortnite pickaxe will be making a return for free on all supported platforms.

The pickaxe is currently available on the PlayStation store as a free pre-order, however, if you pre-order it and log in to Fortnite, you’ll find it in your locker. However, if you can’t see it, you’ll have it at 12 AM UTC when the item shop resets.

For players on platforms other than the PlayStation 4, you’ll still be able to get the Throwback Axe pickaxe for free in the item shop tonight. There’ll be a section the left that allows you to get the pickaxe and you’ll have until mid January to get it.

In the v14.50 Fortnite update that Epic released yesterday, data-miners leaked the upcoming OG default Fortnite skins from chapter 1. Epic had already provided a huge hint in a Twitter reply that they would be coming back, but the leak confirmed their imminent arrival.

The Battle Classics set contain the male skins whilst the Royale Originals are the female default skins. As with all leaks, there’s no information regarding how much the bundles/sets will cost, but we assume it’ll be 800 V-Bucks for each set which will have four default skins with an additional skin style.
