Fortnite Season 3 Challenges week 1 cheat sheet – Homely Hills & Catty Corner

Here’s a Fortnite challenges cheat sheet guide to help you complete the week 1 challenges as quickly as possible.

Epic Games launched Fortnite chapter 2 season 3 this week and as usual, there’s a brand new set of Fortnite challenges for players to complete. Unlike the previous two seasons, players have 7 weekly challenges instead of 10.

Upon completing each challenge, players will be provided with 35,000 season XP. Players also need to complete the weekly Aquaman challenge in order to unlock the skin, trident pickaxe, shell back bling, and the skin style for Aquaman once players unlock the skin in week 5.

Here’s some quick guides to help you complete the first week of challenges as possible along with a cheat sheet map.

Fortnite Challenges Week 1

• Damage Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands (200)
• Deal damage within 10s of landing from the whirlpool at Hydro 16 (1)
• Enter Catty Corner Vault (1)
• Find Gnomes at Homely Hills (3)
• Search chests or ammo boxes at Rickety Rig (7)
• Land at Misty Meadows and finish top 25 (1)
• Eliminations at Steamy Stacks (3)

Where is Homely Hills in Fortnite?

Homely Hills is a brand new landmark location that was added at the start of season 3. You’ll find Homely Hills on the north west side of the map. Here’s the exact location marked on the map:

Where is Catty Corner in Fortnite?

One of the week 1 challenges requires players to enter the vault at Catty Corner. You can find the location where the box factory was last season as seen below:

How to damage Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands

It seems players have been having trouble with the damage Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands challenge. Players need to be around the water in order for the sharks to spawn. There’ll only be one or two that spawn at the location, so you’ll need to get there first and ensure no other player kills the shark.
